PLASMA
The term plasma refers to any ionized gas that is able to conduct electricity, a kind of sustained lightning. Plasma is often referred to as the "fourth state of matter". It is comprised of charged particles (electrons and ions) that interact with electromagnetic fields. A few common examples of plasma include: sunlight, lightning, the Northern Lights, fluorescent lighting, and very hot flames.
Titanium is mainly used to produce titanium dioxide pigment, which is non-toxic. Titanium metal, which has a high strength to weight ratio, is used increasingly in aircraft and spacecraft technology because it is non-reactive and resistant to oxidation. It is also used extensively in medical and dental surgeries such as hip replacements and dental implants. It is 30 percent stronger and nearly 50 percent lighter than steel.

After being cooled down, the gate (sprue) is sawed off. This is done piece-by-piece by hand to ensure quality and precision.
Plasma Innovation Cookware® is made with an ultra-hard coating sealed using a patented high-tech process. We obtain an abrasive solid quality by heating an extremely hard titanium coating (Patent DE-3604762C2) to 36,032º F (20,000º C), which then goes through a molten, liquefied plasma state. The end result is a plasma coating that is scratch resistant and that prevents aluminum from leaking into food unlike many other pots and pans on the market.
After being coated, the pans are turned to produce a microfine and flat bottom. This results in very easy cleaning, and most importantly, good heat transition, which saves time, energy and money.
The hand workmanship in the production of our pots and pans ensures a high quality standard and allows you to enjoy your Plasma Innovation Cookware® pots and pans for a long time, if maintained properly.
The German MOT (RWTÜV) inspects our production to ensure the high standard of quality of our workmanship. We have been awarded the GS-sign for tested safety.
